Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., Ivan Hartle is a musician who molds a vintage sonic aesthetic with modern elements. Pivoting from a successful United States college baseball career into music, he’s been featured as a popular and emerging artist by DailyHive Canada. His bluesy, soul singer-songwriter stylings are drawn from the classic sounds of Sam Cooke and Otis Redding, to new age artists like John Mayer, Amos Lee, and Leon Bridges. Ivan’s memorable live act is flush with melodic grooves and strong, soulful vocals.

Ivan burst onto the Vancouver music scene with gigs at The Imperial, Biltmore, Fox Cabaret, Guilt & Co., Railway Club, Fortune Sound Club, and many others. He’s been featured on notable festival line ups including Rifflandia, North Vancouver Shipyards Festival, and the Surrey Fusion Festival. Other career highlights include touring Western Canada (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver Island + more), opening for Jon and Roy, and headlining the McPherson Theatre in Victoria in 2022.
Ivan's received national CBC radio airplay (You Got Me, More to Find), and also the Netherlands' national NPO radio 2 (You Got Me).
